As an advocate for personal finance and a Certified Financial Education Instructor, Sherwin has taught and coached in the financial sector for over 10 years. He graduated from Troy University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Finance and a Master’s degree in Management. He earned a second Master’s degree in Public Administration from Devry University. Sherwin served four years in the Air Force followed by a career with the Department of Defense.

Sherwin is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. as well  as several financial organizations throughout Broward County. He serves as a board member and deacon at Christian Life Center in  Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

Sherwin believes in teaching financial literacy to the youth of the community. He supports organizations like Junior Achievement, Young Investors Society Club and Stock Market Challenge Game. He and his wife Leslie, a CPA, have already begun instilling these values in their three young boys.
